I received an email from Delegate Kominar this morning informing me that the committee had many Rules Bills that had to get out of their committee this week, so HB 4091 will be placed onto the B&I committee's agenda for Wednesday the 13th!!!
So, now we have a date set, time to contact all of the B&I members and request them to support HB 4091, and time to plan for us all to be at the capitol. Also, this gives us a lot of time now to give our issue a lot of press and media coverage over the next week, and really put some pressure on everyone in the Legislature (House and Senate) to get this bill passed ASAP!!!
Now, we need everyone to try their best to be at the capitol on Wednesday, February 13th (likely around 9 AM) to show our support and relay our need for HB 4091. Tell your sisters, brothers, parents, other family members, friends, your child's teachers, therapists, your neighbors, work associates and anyone else that I may have missed here to help support this bill by contacting the committee members to support the bill and coming to the capitol next Wednesday! Email this post to them all or give them the link to this blog site... Do everything you can to help us get all the support we can for HB 4091 next week, because the statement that we could make on this day has the ability to ripple all the way through the House and the Senate - and essentially get HB 4091 passed very quickly and without much opposition!!!
